What to do in Milan?
While Milan (Milano) may not be the first city a tourist thinks of when planning a trip to Italy, it has more than its share of attractions, not to mention history. For all its workaholic reputation as the money and business center of Italy, it's a city with an influential past and a rich cultural heritage. Consider that St. Augustine was baptized in a basilica that stood at what is now Piazza del Duomo; artists Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, the composer Verdi, the great tenor Enrico Caruso, and designer Giorgio Armani all lived and worked here; Toscanini conducted regularly at La Scala; Napoleon was crowned inside the Duomo. Teach in Milan is always a good idea!
Requirements:

Bachelor in Early Childhood studies PGCE in Early Years

Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach is beneficial

Strong experience in the UK curriculum

Minimum two years experience

As an EYFS Teacher,you will:

The teacher will be expected to actively participate in all staff meetings.
-
The teacher will be an enthusiastic practitioner and strong role model in
-
demonstrating excellent early years practice.
-
At times it may be relevant to also participate or manage the training of students
-
Work co-operatively with the Senior Management Teams, of both the school and the childcare facility, to lead on school improvement.

Work with the Senior Management Team in planning for and carrying out staff
-
observation and appraisal.

The teacher will be required to add a positive contribution to the planning and
-
organization of the play-based curriculum, being aware of relevant county and the teacher will be required to take on curriculum areas of responsibility to
-
enhance and extend our provision. In addition they will be responsible for
-
monitoring key resources, participating in identifying areas requiring funding.

The role includes monitoring and reporting to the head teacher any issues relating to health and safety and ensuring staff are informed of incidents and procedures.

The responsibility also encompasses the implementation of regular fire drills.

The teacher has a responsibility to discuss any grievances immediately with the Head teacher.
