SeekTeachers is URGENTLY seeking for a creative and flexible A Level Art teacher on behalf of our client in the beautiful Shanghai.
 
This is a leading post-16 school located in the city of Shanghai and adopts the Cambridge curriculum. It has just over 400 Chinese students aged between 15 and 18 and they are hardworking, discipline and keen to learn.

**Bachelor degree in Fine Art or relevant subject
**Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS
**Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, newly qualified will also be considered
**English native speaker
**Flexible to adapt into new culture

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**University degree or above in relevant subject area - MUST BE ABOVE 2.1
**Holding a recognized teaching qualification
**Experience in teaching A Level or IBDP

**Committed to the teaching profession
**Motivation to work with teenagers/young adults
**Maintain school discipline and possess emotional resilience in working with challenging personalities and attitudes

Although we prefer candidates who have relevant working experience in an international teaching and learning environment, especially the experiences of offering well-recognized international program to ESL (English as Second Language) students, opportunities are also given to those who have the academic potential and the willpower to excel in the teaching profession.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18000 up to 25000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 7,000CNY   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000.00 (Flight is round-trip air-fare) CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 4 weeks at the end of the 2 year contract is provided
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
