Humanities Teacher | Geography Teacher | History Teacher | Teaching Job in Qatar

I am looking for a strong teacher of humanities to join as of August 2016. Our client will interview you over Skype or in person in Qatar if you are there to secure a role to start later on.

The ideal candidate can deliver humanities to A level standard with a firm grasp of the UK National Curriculum. This is an excellent to work in which appreciates high value teaching and learning. The school is located in Doha

As a teacher of Humanities your role will involve:

**Planning highly engaging lesson of Geography and History

**Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of your learners

**Be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in Humanities

**Attend staff briefing

**Contribute to Humanities department meeting

**Carry out lunch time staff duty

**Ensuring you decorate your room to promote Geography and History

**Manage your time effectively and be well organised, ensuring continued professional development in line with the role

**To maintain discipline in accordance with the school procedures, and to encourage good practice with

regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework

**Promote Humanities learning through out of hours activities.

**Updating professional knowledge and expertise as appropriate to keep up to date with developments in

teaching practice and methodology, in general, and in the curriculum area of Humanities.

**Follow the school policies and procedures

Requirements to apply

**Degree in Geography and History

**PGCE in Humanities with QTS

**At least 2 years experience

**Western trained

**Native speaker of English

**Tech savvy

Salary Range:

A salary from 9000 up to 12000 QAR (Qatar Riyal) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Al Arqam Academy

The school was established in 1996 as a private Girls’ Arabic School, but was distinctive as it included modern teaching methods and a variety of creative development programs. In 2004, keeping pace with education reforms in Qatar, the school changed to an international English curriculum, combined with a progressive Arabic and Islamic Studies syllabus.
