Our client is one of the top international school in China and is currently recruiting a Japanese teacher to join them for the next academic year. This will be a permanent position based in Suzhou, a city in the Jiangsu province.
As a Japanese teacher, you will be responsible to teach the language to students aged from 5 to 8 year old. You will have to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students within the age group. Other duties include:
**Ensure lessons plans promote and student enquiry based model
**Differentiate activities in your Japanese lessons for your students
**Attend parent's evening and build relationships to support your students
**Be a good role model
**Set homework which is attainable and measurable
**Ensure your classroom has a good display to promote the teaching and learning of Japanese
**Set homework to students
**Be able to share teaching ideas and practise with other colleagues
There are over 800 students enrolled in the school. The students are consisted of mainly local students. The academic staffs however are consisted of mostly foreign teachers with about 30% local staffs.
This international school is part of a large educational organisation with over 50 schools in the country.
