This international school based in Sharjah, is looking for qualified primary teachers to start in September 2015. Teachers should be ready to fly in a week if appointed.
Candidates who have just qualified are welcome to apply and this is an ideal opportunity to start your international teaching career
Candidates would be expected to do the following:
Have good knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
Be able to lesson plan diligently
Monitor and assess and have strong skills for Assessment for Learning (AfL)
Report to the Primary Coordinator
Take responsibility of the classroom
Be dynamic when creating resources to create a positive learning environment
Working with other member of the primary team to share and collaborate ideas
Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Have good use of skills when using technology such as interactive whiteboards
The school delivers the UK National Curriculum to students aged 3-18, delivering A'Level at the senior level. While most of the students are Emirati and from royal families, the school does have a small community of expatriate children. The school has just expanded due to the increased intake of students. However, there is a good community of expatriate staff so there will be plenty of chance to mingle. The joy of working at the school is that the team is very friendly and the school is located about 15 minutes from Dubai border so for those of you who like having a wild night out you can pop over to Dubai conveniently.
