Our client is URGENTLY recruiting for a western trained qualified EYFS Teacher to join their team based in Shenzhen, a city situated in Southern China, about 40 mins away from Central Hong Kong. This is an international Early Childhood school that opened in January 2014 and follows UK EYFS Curriculum for students age range 2-6 year old.
The school campus has just refurbished and provides excellent learning environment and facilities for students, such as climate controlled classrooms, computer and smart board in each classroom, library, music room, art room, basketball court, indoor heated swimming pool, medical room, indoor and outdoor playground.
The school expects to have approximately 20 experienced teaching staff in the school mixed with 50% of expatriates and 50% non-expatriates. The work hour consists of 35 hours 5 days a week and teachers normally get 6-8 weeks holiday per annum.
Job description
*Planning, preparing and delivering lessons for students according the syllabus
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students
*Set and mark homework and examinations
*Maintain classroom discipline and work accordance with school policy
*Assisting and supervising students all the time within and outside classroom
*Participating in continuous professional development courses
*Adaptable to new environment
*Good team player
