Role Overview
As an English Teacher, you will:
Plan and teach English Language Arts lessons aligned with American curriculum standards
Develop literacy skills including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary
Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learners
Track student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
Foster strong communication with parents and work collaboratively with colleagues
Participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum planning initiatives
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license (REQUIRED)
At least 2 years of experience teaching English in an American curriculum school
Excellent English language proficiency and communication skills
Effective classroom management and instructional delivery
Willingness to relocate and adapt to life in Kuwait
Preferred:
Experience teaching middle or high school English
Familiarity with Common Core standards
First Aid/CPR certification
