The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Deputy Head of Elementary School to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Elementary to lead academic programmes, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality bilingual education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the strategic leadership and daily management of the Elementary School
- Support curriculum planning and implementation across Chinese and international programmes
- Monitor teaching and learning to ensure high standards of pedagogy and student outcomes
- Lead staff appraisal, professional development, and mentoring initiatives
- Promote student wellbeing and a positive, inclusive school culture
- Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and the wider school community
- Uphold and model the school’s values and ethos
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with leadership experience at grade, department or senior level
- Experience in bilingual, international or dual-curriculum settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and best practices in elementary education
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills
-Fluent English speaker (Mandarin an advantage, but not required)
