Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Vision: Develop and implement a clear academic vision and strategic plan that aligns with the school’s mission, ensuring high academic standards, effective teaching, and positive student outcomes across all grade levels.
• School Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring smooth functioning and a safe, supportive environment for students, staff, and parents.
• Curriculum & Instruction: Ensure the continuous development and implementation of a rigorous, balanced, and inclusive K-12 curriculum that meets the needs of all learners and is aligned with international best practices.
• Teacher Development & Support: Provide leadership in the recruitment, development, and retention of highly qualified teachers. Promote professional growth through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and targeted professional development.
• Academic Excellence & Student Outcomes: Drive student achievement and improvement by implementing effective teaching strategies, monitoring student progress, and ensuring the appropriate use of data to inform instruction.
• School Culture & Community Engagement: Foster a positive school culture that is inclusive, supportive, and conducive to the academic, emotional, and social development of students. Strengthen partnerships with parents and the wider school community, promoting open communication and collaboration.
• Strategic Planning & Budget Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to establish long-term goals and strategies. Oversee the school’s budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support academic initiatives.
• Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure that the school meets local regulations, international accreditation standards, and other legal requirements, maintaining high standards of operational and academic quality.

Job Requirements

• Educational Leadership: A Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in a K-12 or international school setting, with a proven track record of driving academic excellence, leading staff development, and managing school operations effectively.
• Curriculum Expertise: Deep understanding of K-12 curriculum development, assessment practices, and the integration of innovative teaching methodologies across grade levels.
• Leadership & Management Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of educators, staff, and students. Experience in managing budgets, developing school policies, and overseeing school-wide initiatives.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Cultural Awareness: Experience working in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural norms and educational systems.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
