SeekTeachers is seeking an experienced and committed HS Physical Education teacher (IGCSE & IBDP) to join our client in Shanghai in January 2025.
Our client is a non-profit bilingual school located in the beautiful Shanghai city, offering a unique Year 1 - 12 educational programme that integrates elements of Shanghai and international curricula, culminating in Years 9-12 with the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programmes, which are complemented by core components of the Shanghai curriculum.
The school has been established for over 15 years and currently enrols over 1,500 students from aged 5-18.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, advanced degree(s) preferred
- 3+ years experience from an accredited School
- Experience working in an International School and/or setting a plus
- Experience working in residential setting (School, camp, International travel supervision)
- Experience supervising an afternoon activity. Athletic Coaching or personal sport interest preferred- Experience participating in pastoral program
- Good communication skills (spoken and written). Training in student support preferred
- IGCSE and IB experience is desirable
Main Responsibilities:
* Teach according to the class schedule developed by the Academic Affairs Office.
* Contribute to the pastoral care program, whether living off or on campus.
* Support the co-curricular program.
* Serve as a tutor to a group of students if required.
