English as a Foreign Language Teacher - China

Responsibilities:

**Create engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum objectives and effectively deliver English language instruction.
**Foster a supportive classroom environment conducive to active learning.
**Utilize interactive teaching methods such as group work, discussions, debates, and multimedia resources.
**Provide individualized attention and support to meet the diverse needs of students.
**Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, projects, and presentations.
**Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning activities.
**Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance or concerns.
**Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
 
Requirements:
 
**Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
**TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent qualification (CELTA/DELTA preferred).
**Proven experience teaching English as a second language at the high school level.
**Strong knowledge of English grammar rules and principles of language acquisition.
**Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with high school students,
parents/guardians, and colleagues.
**Cultural sensitivity combined with an understanding of Chinese culture is highly desirable.
 
Benefits:
 
**Salary ranges from 16000  CNY - 22000 CNY depending on your qualifications and experience 
**50% payment of summer (around 5 weeks) and winter vacation (around 3 weeks)
**Housing will not be provided but you will be assissted in finding housing 
**Flight allowance up to 4,000 CNY which will be paid at the end of the contract 
**Training and curriculum provided 
**11 days Chinese official holidays PLUS summer and winter vacation 
**Up to 7 days of PAID holiday accommodation upon arrival 
**Foreign teachers community (group events eg; hiking, BBQ's)
**Full support in making the transition to life in China.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 16000 up to 22000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 12% Tax is applied
