The Ideal Candidate:
My client is looking for individuals with a true passion for facilitating young people’s curiosity in the field of biology. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a successful teaching experience with the subject area as a specialism in the field, and references will indicate a track record of a history of effective teaching. Exceptional candidates will indicate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to put situations into REAL-LIFE contexts. Teachers will also be expected to maintain excellent classroom management in order to promote cohesion and professionalism. Teachers and students will be exposed to state-of-the-art laboratories, and therefore, the ideal candidate will be expected to provide engaging PRACTICAL and HANDS-ON experiences with the use of these resources. The outstanding individual will have the ability to use assessment as a tool to further develop their students learning and development.
Educational Requirements:
**Degree in Biology with a full teaching license
**PGCE in related subject or an American Teaching License, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent
