It is with great pride and joy that we at SeekTeachers will be supporting one of the leading international schools on the entire planet, based in the HEART of the naturally beautiful city of Suzhou, China, with the acquisition of an exceptionally talented and highly skilled SEN ( Special Educational Needs) / AEN (Additional Educational Needs) Teacher to teach younger students with in their school and to join their Primary Department, for the beginning of next academic year.

Requirements to apply:
 
**Bachelor's Degree 

(Preferably degree to be in a field relative to Primary Education or Childhood Development, a Psychological field or with a specialist in SEN)
 
**PGCE or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)  preferably with a specialization in either Early Year, Primary Education or Special Educational Needs
 
**Qualified Teachers Status (QTS)
 
**UK Curriculum Teaching Experience is mandatory
 
**A progressive and consistent working history in a primary setting in the UK   
 
The Ideal Candidate:
 
The Ideal applicant will have experience of providing for student additional learning needs. The ideal applicant will confidently be able supervise classes and be familiar with a range of specialist teaching resources and strategies suitable for the needs of individuals or small groups and to use them effectively. The ideal applicant will be able to confidently demonstrate the use of specialist teaching resources and intervention style programs and strategies. The Successful candidate will be be responsible for liaising with the AEN team, subject teachers and the Pastoral team regarding progress made, problems arising, and be able to confidently articulate, communicate an assess all findings to the relative parties / outside agencies. Due to the nature of the role, we will be seeking a kind and caring individual, with relative university level qualifications and experiences to offer an exceptional level of expertise to the schools team.

Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai, and is known for its picturesque canals, bridges and classical gardens. The Humble Administrator’s Garden incredibly attractive zigzag bridges over connected pools and islands, the Lingering Garden features ornate viewing pavilions and the Crown of Clouds Peak, a striking limestone rockery.
 
Though it's main draws for its expatriate community and are its cultural attractions such as its ancient Chinese gardens that Chinese and many foreigners think are exquisitely designed and some old "water towns" that are towns with canals.
