Primary Teachers

Primary Teacher

  1. BA/Ed/Dip Ed/Dip Teaching/PGCE Degree in English/Literacy/Linguistics/Humanities
  2. A mininimum of 3 years relevant classroom-teaching experience after qualifying as a teacher
  3. Western trained
  4. Native speaker of English
  1. Up to date with modern teaching & technology
  2. UK, US, NZ, AUS, IRE, SA, Canadian trained is strongly preferred
  3. Experience working in high performing school is desirable
  4. Commitment to encouraging all aspects of our program including extra-curricular activities and contribution to the school community
  5. Awareness of the importance of using a variety of tests and examination to evaluate children's education
  6. Show experience in supporting children's education in a stimulating learning
  7. ICELT course and Malay language and IT training
  8. All teachers must have a current driving licence and must be willing to drive in Brunei or be able to rely upon someone in their household who can drive
  1. TAX-FREE Monthly salary is between 3,000 - 5, 000 BAR Per Month
  2. Free, family sized furnished accommodation (or housing allowance)
  3. FREE flights for teacher, spouse and upto 2 children ages 5- 18 of age
  4. FREE visa for teacher, spouse and upto 2 children ages 5- 18 of age
  5. Heavily subsidised private education for up to two children in Brunei at schools approved by CfBT (ages 5-18) or three children for teaching couples
  6. Allowances for accompanying spouse and up to 3 children until they start primary school
  7. Gratuity bonus upon completion of contract
  8. Vacation as per the school academic calender
  9. Two years contract renewable
