Assistant Nursery Manager needed in Dubai | 12,500 AED per month TAX FREE
Our client in Dubai is looking for an Assistant Manager to start ASAP with a new organisation that is now expanding. This is a VERY EXCITING opportunity for anyone that has been a Team Leader or Supervisor to be promoted to a Nursery Manager. The Nursery is an established brand from the UK that has expanded to the UAE and so they have opened this new nursery where SeekTeachers has been the recruitment company to provide the Manager. We are now after a strong Supervisor who has experience of working and leading a small team and someone that is ideally located in the UAE as NO ACCOMMODATION is provided.
This is ideal if you are locally sponsored and want to advance your career as the Nursery will look to further expand and so the person to be appointed may well be promoted to a Nursery Manager when the new nursery opens and will naturally get a salary increase also.
Requirements to apply:
**Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or
**A bachelor's degree with a PGCE in Early Years
**Ideally 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
**Experience of working in the Middle East
**MUST be a native speaker of English
**Western trained
If you have a car it will be beneficial. Interviews will be done over Skype or preferably in person if you are in the UAE. The nursery is well resourced and the new Manager has a wealth of experience from the UAE that will allow you to grow and develop your career.
Assistant Manager Job Duties
**Report to the Nursery Manager
**Assist and support the Nursery Manager in the delay running of the nursery
**Overview Early Years Teachers
**Ensure you have thorough planning and ensure that teachers are working consistently
**Carry out formative and summative assessment
**Be responsible for the nursery data and support the Nursery Manager in data collection
**Carry out staff observations
**Carry out in house staff-training
**Be a good team player
**Have excellent communication skills
**Be able to promote the nursery both online and offline
**Carry out lunch time duty
**Ensure the nursery is a safe and healthy learning environment at all times
**Attend meetings with the Nursery Manager and the CEO
**Ensure that stock levels are up to date
**Be able to review and contribute to policies and procedures
