A-level Biology Teacher needed in Dubai
Our client is seeking a specialist Biology teacher to teach science to a-level students from a variety of backgrounds. The clients would ideally like the teacher to have some experience of teaching Biology to post 16 students and would prefer if the candidate has experience of teaching internationally. If the candidate has a degree in Biology this would be beneficial but if not will still be considered for the role. You will all need to ensure that you are fully qualified preferably from the UK. Teaching Duties:
**You will be asked to implement the UK curriculum to international students so good communication skills are a must
**You will need to ensure that you attend a weekly meeting held by your head of department
**Ensure that all of your lesson planning is done well in advance
**Build relationships with all work colleagues, students and parents
**Ensure that you classroom has a positive atmosphere which motivates the students to work hard
**Continuously asses your student and ensure you are keeping a track on each individual
**Provide parents of the child with evidence of development made by their child
**Provide the children with a strong role model to look up to
Our client is one of very few schools in Dubai to deliver the English curriculum to the level that this amazing school does. The school currently enrols over 1200 students from a variety of ethnicities from all around the world. The majority of the children attending the school are from an emeriti background. On the other hand the teachers are majority from a western background traveling from countries such as South Africa, United Kingdom, Ireland, America, Canada and Australia.
