A prominent international school in Seoul is looking for an experienced and committed Middle School Mathematics to join their team in August 2015.
To be qualified for the position, you MUST have the following:
*Bachelor degree in Mathematics
*Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license
*English native speaker
*Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
*Experience in teaching IB curriculum
The successful candidate need to have good knowledge of IB curriculum, guide the students to learn from their lives, achieve the best academic result as well as deal with the challenge they will face in the future.
This is a well-established international school with just over 1,000 students and adopts the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Understand MYP and the developmental needs of middle school students
- Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the MYP using a range of assessment strategies
- Monitor, assess and record each student’s learning progress and development
- Supervise and assist students inside and outside the school
- Encourage students and build their esteem
- Provide positive guidance to all students
- Clearly and effectively communicate with all students
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
- Participate in school and parents’ meetings
- Participate in all CPD activities
