📚 The Role

As an MYP Science 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Teach MYP Science 1 (ages 11–12) following the IB Middle Years Programme framework
  • Deliver inquiry-based, student-centred lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology fundamentals
  • Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy in students
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments, and whole-school initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with a team of international educators in a supportive environment

🎓 Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Science Education
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred
  • Experience teaching IB MYP Science highly desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student-centred learning
  • High emotional and cultural intelligence (EQ & CQ)

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 2000 up to 4000  USD (U.S. Dollar) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Flights:
Flight(s) provided annual flights are provided for the teacher
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:

Gratuity Amount:
