About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our American curriculum school in Kuwait. This role is perfect for an educator passionate about fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration through the performing arts. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore drama, theatre, and performance, helping them develop communication and expressive skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the American curriculum
Develop students’ skills in acting, improvisation, script analysis, and stagecraft
Organize and direct school productions, performances, and drama-related events
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development
Job Requirements:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Education, or a related field
✅ Valid teaching certification/license (REQUIRED)
✅ Minimum 2 years teaching experience in drama or performing arts
✅ Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and performance techniques
✅ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
✅ Willingness to relocate and adapt to life in Kuwait
Preferred:
✅ Experience teaching drama in an American or international curriculum setting
✅ Familiarity with theatre production and technical stage skills
✅ First Aid/CPR certification
