Position: Careers & Academic Counselor
Location: Kuwait
Start Date: August 2025
Salary: 900 – 1200 KD/month (tax-free)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting students (Grades 9–12) in academic planning, subject selection, and goal setting

  • Providing one-on-one and group guidance on university admissions, scholarships, and career pathways

  • Assisting with personal statements, application processes, and standardized testing timelines (SAT, IELTS, etc.)

  • Coordinating with parents, teachers, and external institutions to support student success

  • Organizing career fairs, university visits, and guest speaker events

  • Promoting student wellbeing, confidence, and future-readiness

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

  • A recognized counseling certification or qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in academic or college counseling at the high school level

  • Familiarity with international university admissions systems (UK, US, Canada, UAE, Europe, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • A compassionate, student-centered approach with cultural sensitivity

  • Experience working in international or multicultural schools is a plus
