IB Diploma Coordinator and Teacher of English, Rome, Italy | Send your CV ASAP 
 
I am looking to recruit an experienced IBDP Coordinator with strong experience in teaching IBDP English to join my prestigious client in Italy, Rome!

Requirements:
BA Degree in a relevant subject 
Teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS 
Minimum of two years experience in the IB curriculum 
Stable experience in teaching 
International experience is a plus 
MUST hold an EU passport 
 
Job descriptio as an IBDP Coordinator:
Ensure that all teachers are suitably qualified and trained in accordance with IBO requirements
Conduct regular meetings with IB teachers
Support/induct teachers new to the IB especially on pedagogy and assessment
Ensure quality assurance of the delivery of the IBDP
Ensure that teachers have updated publications        
Ensure that teachers have information on current Diploma developments    
Coordinate participation in Diploma workshops and professional development activities
Ensure support and information to new Diploma teachers        
Inform all concerned about assessment procedures and deadlines    
Ensure that all documents are completed in time        
Prepare time‐lines for submission of work to the IBO        
Rationalize time‐lines for students        
Ensure the efficient administration of the CAS, extended essays and TOK Programmes

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: B.Ed, BA Degree with a relevant PGCE (QTS/GTC/GTP)

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
International experience is not necessary to apply
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
