Weather & Climate
The region has a tropical desert climate due to its location surrounding the desert belt with temperatures soaring as high as 49 Degrees Centigrade (120 Degrees Fahrenheit) between June and August and dropping as low as 6 Degrees Centigrade (43 Degrees Fahrenheit) between December and February.
Weather-wise the region has sun all-year-round but also has sparse bursts of rain from time to time and has had as much as 25mm (0.98 Inches) of precipitation but often has none for months at a time. The Humidity all across the region remains remarkably high all year around and barely changes, ranging from 53-65% throughout the year. Typically the most precipitation and the highest humidity occur between January and March and the least precipitation occurs between August and September and the lowest humidity occurs in May.
With regards to sunlight, on average there are a little over 3500 sunshine hours a year, this corresponds to around 10 hours a day with the days being longer in May (11 hours a day) and the shortest in February (8.5 hours a day). Sandstorms are also a seasonal nuisance and tend to sweep across the nation for several days at a time, typically in the first few months of the year.
