Children will not require any additional documents that their adult counterparts would not require.
Although Zambia doesn’t quarantine any healthy pets, the process necessary for importing pets is a little bit complicated and several documents are required:
-
A permit obtained from the Departure of Research and Specialist Services
-
A Veterinary Certificate for Zambia declaring your pet to be healthy and free of disease, signed by your veterinarian
-
Your cat or dog must be vaccinated for rabies no less than 30 days and no more than 12 months before entry
-
A microchip is not required but is strongly advised
