This is great for children to develop their reading, learning and writing skills to progress from a young age and to learn different abilities such as creativity, empathy, and imaginative and innovative thinking. The thinking skill produces a variety of possible ideas and answers around for children instead of basic responses as it enables them to think out of the box and come up with inventive concepts.

Influence of Stories and understanding other cultures

It helps to build the viewpoint of the world in children from a young age which makes it easier for them to learn about life and the differences within each other such as race, culture, gender etc. The stories that they read leads to a better learning stage and have a strong impact on how they behave and think as children’s brain works like wonders.

They are surrounded by children from various ethnic backgrounds and cultures that allow them to learn about several cultures, religions and ethnicity and appreciate the difference in everyone to understand everyone is unique.

They get used to different ways of thinking and start realising the everyday aspects of life and understanding the concept that there’s a world of humans just like us. With stories come inspirations and preferences that way we find the similarities and differences in children, they enjoy the fantasy world and have a hope to pursue something in life as the happy endings in the book teach them and prepare them for real-life lessons to hope for something and achieve their desires.

Change

Stories can build a huge change in children’s perspective and the way they view others or different parts of the world as it has a massive influence on how they decide to act and live in this world.

For example, have an image ready in your head of all Princesses wearing big dresses and Tiaras which is not fully true as that is just the way it has been followed and shown to children but not all princesses wear big fancy dresses and have their crowns ready.

Children are affected by real-life stories that teach them diverse learning and the life of different people around the world that are suffering; in need of help so this motivates them to support local food banks and charities as well as community groups to raise funds for those who are in need. This makes them humble to give back to others and always help back to do good for the world.
