Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority’s director, Fatima Bilrahif, has recently stepped forward to give a statement in regards to e-Security in schools across Dubai. During her statement, she has said that assessors had been scheduled to visit and inspect schools this coming school year and aim to find ways to help protector schools from harm, including through the internet and social media.

The approach is intended to evaluate the current state of online security for schools and is predicted to boost awareness of online dangers as well as in child protection measures and protocol. This also means that student protection procedures are intended to be heavily investigated in all schools across the region as well, with the aim that underperforming schools will better their systems to guarantee their students’ health and safety.
