A top American curriculum school in Kuwait is seeking an experienced and student-focused Careers Counselor to support secondary students in their academic, university, and career planning journeys.

Your Role

  • Guide high school students through university research, application processes, and career exploration

  • Support students with college essays, personal statements, and recommendation letters

  • Advise on international university systems including US, UK, Canada, and more

  • Organize university fairs, career days, and informational workshops

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global admissions trends and testing (SAT, ACT, IELTS, etc.)

  • Work closely with families, teachers, and leadership to support student aspirations

  • Track alumni success and continuously improve the school’s college and career readiness program

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field

  • Certification or formal training in university/career counseling preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a college or careers counselor (international school experience a plus)

  • Deep knowledge of university application systems (Common App, UCAS, OUAC, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Native-level English fluency

  • A motivated, approachable, and globally aware professional
