A top American curriculum school in Kuwait is seeking an experienced and student-focused Careers Counselor to support secondary students in their academic, university, and career planning journeys.

Your Role
Guide high school students through university research, application processes, and career exploration
Support students with college essays, personal statements, and recommendation letters
Advise on international university systems including US, UK, Canada, and more
Organize university fairs, career days, and informational workshops
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global admissions trends and testing (SAT, ACT, IELTS, etc.)
Work closely with families, teachers, and leadership to support student aspirations
Track alumni success and continuously improve the school’s college and career readiness program
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
Certification or formal training in university/career counseling preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience as a college or careers counselor (international school experience a plus)
Deep knowledge of university application systems (Common App, UCAS, OUAC, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Native-level English fluency
A motivated, approachable, and globally aware professional
Salary & Benefits
Tax-free salary: KWD 1,000 – 1,300/month (based on experience)
