The Ideal Candidate:
Drama Teachers will always promote a positive image of themselves and the school with which they are associated. Drama Teachers will create a positive, active and creative learning environment that allows learners to express themselves through the disciplines of Drama, Performing Arts, and other relative subject areas. The ideal applicant will possess a real passion for theatre and the performing Arts and will also possess the ability to not only serve as a role model but promote support in a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
Educational Requirements
**bachelor’s degree in a Drama, Performing Arts or a highly creative field
**Valid American Teaching License, PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teachers Status), Bachelor of Education, Irish Teaching Council Registration or Membership to other relative Body (Australian Department of Education, SACE), etc
.
**A minimum of two years teaching experience (Pre or Post Teaching Qualification)
