Our client, a school group responsible for several educational institutes across the United Arab
Emirates in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, and Al-Ain are currently seeking
DYNAMIC Educational Leaders to help DRIVE the WORLDS LARGEST EDUCATIONAL
REFORM.
The role of the Student Support Advisor will be expected to develop, coordinate, and
implement strategies with several schools to improve student attendance and attainment,
making sure that the school meets all its attendance and punctuality targets and requirements.
The role of the Student Support Advisor will be to Co-ordinate strategies to build positive
relationships with ‘hard to engage’ parents across the cluster of schools and assist with
activities to assess and support student engagement.

areas it is not exclusive and is likely to change in line with external and internal
strategies:

Responsibilities
Maintain close links with specialist external agencies and develop effective referral systems
Student Support Advisors will be responsible for attending external meetings, training, and
events on behalf of their school regarding welfare and safeguarding. Support Advisors will liaise
effectively with outside agencies where and when necessary. Student Support Advisors will
develop an overview of the range of barriers to learning that impacting on student progress, with
reference to behavior for learning, in and out of the classroom. The role of the student's Support
The advisor will be to use all of the above to identify underachievement with a view to establishing
and coordinating improvement strategies in conjunction with the student support unit.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Guidance Counselling, Learning Support or similar health
-
profession
-
Previous experience as a Form Tutor
-
UAE transferable driving license
-
Excellent oral and written English is essential. The following proficiency certificates are accepted and should be presented before the interview.
