Our client, a school group responsible for several educational institutes across the United Arab
Emirates in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, and Al-Ain are currently seeking
DYNAMIC Educational Leaders to help DRIVE the WORLDS LARGEST EDUCATIONAL
REFORM.
The role of a Head of Grade (Pastoral Manager) will be to monitor the academic progress of
the assigned grade in order to secure and sustain effective learning. To have an overview of the
range of barriers to learning that impacting on student progress, with reference to behavior for
learning, in and out of the classroom. Each grade (year group) will be assigned a Pastoral
Manager to support students to achieve their full potential some of whom may be exhibiting
behavior, emotional or social problems in school. You will be supported by command and
control offers who will assist you with your duty.

Responsibilities
A Head of Grade’s responsibilities will be to monitor behavior, emotional and social issues
within a specific grade and make positive interventions when necessary. Heads of grades o
monitor attendance and truancy issues and devise and implement intervention strategies to
improve these issues. They will also be responsible for identifying issues that are affecting
students’ performance at school and share this information with relevant staff in order to help
the student progress.
Requirements to Apply:

Qualified Teacher Status
-
A bachelors in either English, Maths, Science, Business, Computer Science
-
Experience;
-
A minimum of 3 years membership of a senior leadership team in a secondary school

Teaching experience in a range of secondary schools
-
No Open university degree is accepted
-
Candidate should have good Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Candidates should exhibit self-motivation, high work standards, and attention to detail.
