We at SeekTeachers are seeking an outstanding Librarian to teach in one of the leading IB (International Baccalaureate) Delivering schools, based a stone throw away from Dubai, in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This wonderful School based in Sharjah ( 20 Minutes’ Drive from Dubai )  are already the recipients of some ‘Outstanding’ observation reports from KHDA (The United Arab Emirates  Equivalent to Ofsted) making them one of the leading educational institutes in the country and possess even further ambitions to be one of the leading national schools across the globe. The school have reached out to SeekTeachers to support them with the acquisition of a Highly Talented and Skilled Librarian to join their already excellent team of INTERNATIONAL EDUCATORS for the beginning of next academic year (August / September 2020).

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess experiences with selecting, developing and classifying library resources. The ideal candidate will have the ability to answer readers' enquiries about the use of resources within the library and use library systems and specialist computer applications The Ideal applicant will also possess the ability to deliver small focused lessons with a distinct focus on reading and the utilization of the school’s library for study and academic purposes.

Educational Requirements:

**Degree librarianship, library science or another relative field

**Experience within a school setting is preferred but not essential
