The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be both personable and have excellent communication skills. The ideal applicant will also have the ability to provide examples of highly engaging lessons. As the Assistant Head of the Kindergarten Department, the ideal applicant will have the ability to lead by example of their practice, and positively encourage and support all members of staff within the Kindergarten (KG) Team. The Assistant head of the Kindergarten department will work with the Head of Kindergarten (KG) to ensure that the setting offers a high quality, exciting and engaging learning environment, well matched for the needs of all children.
Educational Requirements:
**Bachelor's Degree in Kindergarten, Early Years, Foundation Phase or an Educational Related field
**PGCE, American Teaching License, Bachelor of Education and Irish teaching Council number or SACE Qualification
**American Common Core and/or PYP Curriculum experience is preferred but not essential
