Plan, prepare and present lessons
Organize classes, develop learning resources and create a positive learning environment to motivate students
Motivate students with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching styles
Consult and coordinate with the Head of English Department and the Director of English program
Maintain the classroom’s discipline
Regularly check and evaluate the learning activities of students
Keep track on the progress of students throughout the semesters and the whole academic year
Provide parents with information about their children’s learning and progress
Answer questions of parents if any
Support after-school activities once per semester
Other jobs as assigned by the Head of English Department
Working location: Khuc Thua Du, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or English Language/English Literature
ESL teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA, TEFL,..)
Native English speakers from US, UK, Canada, Newzealand, Australia,...
Clean criminal record
A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience
Salary: commensurate with experience and qualifications (minimum at 1800 $USD/month and maximum at 2600 $USD).
Start date: in late August 2020/September start
Contract duration: Until August, 2020 ( Contract renewable for 2021-2022 academic year upon the performance assessment)
Each teacher has a maximum of 22 - 26 lesson periods/week ( 35 - 40 minutes/ period).The other working hours are for lesson planning, marking, supervising students,...
Age range: 6 - 11 years old
Class size: 10 - 15
