Description

Music Teacher in a reputable school in Vietnam - ASAP 2020 Start.

- Plan, prepare and present lessons 
- Organize classes, develop learning resources and create a positive learning environment to motivate students
- Motivate students with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching styles
- Consult and coordinate with the Head of English Department and the Director of English program

Record and evaluate students’ progress
- Regularly check and evaluate the learning activities of students
- Keep track on the progress of students throughout the semesters and the whole academic year
- Provide parents with information about their children’s learning and progress
- Answer questions of parents if any

Other duties

Organize and participate in school events, field trips and anticipated activities on weekends or evenings
- Support after-school activities once per semester
- Other jobs as assigned by the Head of English Department
- Plan, prepare, deliver lessons, test and assess students
- Participate in professional activities,  to be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of teaching
- Supervise students in educational activities organized by the school

Working hours: from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday) (The actual in-class hours are 17 -20 hours/week and the other working hours are for the lesson preparation, admin work,..
Working location: Khuc Thua Du street, Cau Giay district, Ha Noi

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Music
- ESL teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA, TEFL,..)
- Native English speakers from US, UK, Canada, Newzealand. Australia,..
- Clean criminal record
- A minimum of 1-year experience in teaching Music
- Strong musical skills (vocal or instrumental) and/or experience applying musical talents in a vocational or volunteer situation.
- Individual work skills as well as effective team work skills
- Strong communication skills
- Planning and time management skills

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: B.Ed, BA Degree with a relevant PGCE (QTS/GTC/GTP)
