Montessori Director needed in Saudi Arabia | International School | August 2020
 
I am seeking an experienced female Montessori Director to join my client as of August 2020. My client is an American curriculum school serving a mainly Saudi population of students. As the school is growing and expanding, they are needing experienced staff that are able to lead by example and have proven experience to help raise the rest of the staff in the school
 
Requirements to apply
  1. Degree in Early Childhood
  2. Ideally a M.Ed in Early Childhood
  3. An AMI Montessori Diploma
  4. A mininum of 5 years management experience
  5. Experience oif leading in the GCC is beneficial
  6. Western trained
  7. A high command of written and spoken English
  8. Up to date with with modern pedagogy
The school opened its doors in 2004, with a purpose built building, fully equiped Montessori, now catering from K to Grade 12.  The school promoted an enquiry based learning model to help students gain and international education.  
 
Important Qualities:
  1. Positive, self-motivated, dedicated and accountable self-starter
  2. Strong business skills to manage school operation effectively.
  3. Strong communication skills including good writing and speaking skills to communicate to parents and staff effectively.
  4. Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to develop good relationships with parents, children and staff.
  5. Strong leadership and management skills to be able to inspire staff to work diligently, supervise staff and enforce rules and regulations, resolve conflicts
  6. Strong problem solving skills to resolve issues and conflicts
  7. Effective organizational skills to maintain clear records about students and staff, be able to multitask when multiple people or situations require attention.
  8. Good computer skills (emails, MS Word, Excel, google docs, Power Point etc.)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for Licensing communication & compliance
  2. Oversee daily school operation
  3. Supervise staff & enforce school policy
  4. Ensure facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations
  5. Plan school calendar, plan and lead school events with support of head teachers (open house, fund raising etc.)
  6. Conduct school marketing and grow enrollments
  7. Enroll new students and manage existing students
  8. Conduct parent tours, parent communication & customer care
  9. Manage staff scheduling efficiently
  10. Direct, lead and inspire staff to realize their full potential
  11. Coordinate with child care center contractors

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Additional:
**Your bachelor's degree MUST be in Early Childhood
**Montessori Diploma is needed
**Having a Master's is beneficial to your application in Early Childhood
**Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial to your application
**If you have experience of working in an Islamic environment/students is beneficial for you

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
