Position: Engineering Teacher
Start DATE: August 2019
 
The Ministry of Education are looking for a talented experienced Engineering Teachers who wants to make a difference, You will utilize your experience by teaching students how it works from installing, repairing, modifying and testing plant and equipment whilst providing solutions to engineering issues as and when required. 
 
The ideal candidate should have professional knowledge of mechanical / electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices and familiarity with architectural and other engineering disciplines.

You should have Knowledge of a broad range of engineering and construction standards, methods, practices, and techniques, materials and equipment. Knowledge of automated data processing concepts, systems capabilities, and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functions. Knowledge of aesthetic and functional design techniques and skill in preparing project documentation. Ability to plan, conduct and record site/facilities surveys and inspection. Ability to plan and organize work.
 
 
The Minisrtey of Education will place you were they see fit!  Based on oporational needs across the 8 cities in the UAE: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain
 
 
 
Main Role and Responsibilities:
 
  • Assisting and monitoring planning, managing and improving the learning of their staff, working with other team members and their Supervisor to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies in line with the Education policies and procedures
  • Develop, review and update the Engineering curriculum, learning/teaching resources, assessments and projects for use by their teaching teams. 
  • Every team member is encouraged to provide ideas and suggestions leading to continuous improvement of local teaching and learning practices.
 
 
 
Salary package:
 
  • TAX-FREE salary from 16,000 AED to 21,000 AED per month based on qualification and experience (£41,000 - £52,000 per annum)
  • FREE Medical cover for the teacher
  • FREE Medical insurance for spouse and up to 3 children
  • FREE visa cover for teacher only
  • FREE flights for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children (on entry and exit only)
  • Gratuity bonus as per UAE labor law
  • A 2-year contract that can be renewed
 
 
Requirements:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
 
PGCE / PGDE / Cert Ed or equivalent teaching Licence
 
Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience
