Position: Female PE Teacher

I have an opportunity for a Qualified Female PE Teacher to join The Ministrey of Education .

supportive teacher to join their team and uphold their values.
Essential Functions:
The role will encompass all the following, but the balance of duties and
responsibilities will be determined in discussion with the school Principal and your assigned PE Lead Trainer.
The PE Teacher should:
• Be a positive role model to students
• Possess the ability to identify and articulate best practices in the delivery of Physical and Health Education
• Have a working knowledge of Physical Education curriculum standards (or relevant aligned curriculum)
• Organise PE, Health and Sports workshops for students, staff and parents when appropriate
• Organise co-curricular activities including liaising with other schools across the Northern Emirates
• Always conduct themselves in an exemplary manner
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• Possess strong planning and organizational skills
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for the role
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages learning
• Commit to innovation in teaching and learning strategies
• Be confident and professional in appearance and conduct themselves with integrity, ensuring cultural appropriateness
• Be enthusiastic and show a willingness to engage in continuous professional development
You will inspire other staff by:
• Understanding national standards as set by the Ministry of Education with respect to Physical and Health Education and ensuring these are followed and implemented
• Using effective target setting systems for all students within the Physical and Health Education curriculum
• Identifying effective intervention strategies for students within the Physical and Health Education curriculum
• Being an outstanding practitioner and demonstrate a flexible commitment depending on the needs of the role
• Share your best practice to other colleagues in professional development sessions
• Researching the best teaching and learning practices
• Researching the best motivation and classroom/sports hall management strategies
• Keeping up to date with subject specialism knowledge
• Attending meetings and committees as required
• Undertaking such other duties as are commensurate with the post and which may reasonably be required
Experience Required Essential:
• Experience of teaching Physical and Health Education or equivalent subjects (e.g. Sports Coaching, Health and Wellbeing, Fitness, Diet and Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, etc.)
• Experience of teaching students ranging from KG – Grade 12
• Experience of implementing a range of teaching and learning strategies
• Proven track record of success as an outstanding PE (or related subject)
teacher/instructor
• Experience/good understanding of using technology
• Experience/good understanding of the implementation of Physical and Health
Education training programmes:
Desirable
• Minimum of 3 years’ in the Physical Education or sports related area
• Experience of developing Physical Education curriculum materials for a range of ages (KG-G12)
Education Requirements Essential:
• Physical Education Degree, or Degree in relevant subject (Sports Science, Health Science, Sports Development, Sports Coaching and Management, etc.)
• Valid First Aid Certificate (must be obtained before start date if successful)
• Valid UAE or transferable Driving License
Desirable:
• Teaching qualification (e.g. DTLLS, PGCE, Cert. Ed) or equivalent
• Assessor qualification (e.g. A1, TAQA) or equivalent
• Quality Assurance qualification (e.g. IV, IQA) or equivalent
• Other sports and physical education related qualifications (e.g. Fitness Instructor, Coaching Certificate, Sports Leadership, etc.) or equivalent
• TEFL/CELTA/DELTA qualification would be an advantage

The curriculum is delivered in all boys and girls schools from KG to Grade 12 across the UAE. The Ministry of Education is leading a change in the
