My client is a bilingual school located in Dubai and caters for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12 offering the IBPYP, MYP and DP programme. The Middle and High school follow the MYP and DP Programme and provides young learners with opportunity to inquire in a multilingual and multicultural environment that provides a wide range of opportunities academically, culturally, socially and physically.
This international school currently caters for over 1,000 children with over 60 different nationalities. The school has a purpose-built campus with access to sports facilities such as tennis and basketball courts, an Olympics swimming pool, soccer field and gym. The school also has an innovation Labs support STEM education, music and dance studios, as well as art and design rooms.
The Head of Boarding will established, develop and model a Boarding House ethos that is consistent with the school's values. The candidate will support excellence in all areas relating to academic and pastoral care for boarding students. The candidate will take a personal interest in all boarding student individually, with particular reference to their aptitutes, background, prospects and intended career etc. The Head of Boarding has a key role in developing and implementing the school's pastoral policy.
Requirements to apply:
**Bachelor Degree with boarding qualifications
**Extensive international Boarding House experience
**Proven track record of working collaboratively as part of a Boarding House team
**Proven record of delivering outstanding pastoral care to students and knowledge and experience of child welfare, well-being and safety
**An additional European language skills is highly desirable
**Excellent communication and organisation skills
