**PYP Coordinator**
**Leadership role in Singapore**

Our client is an established educational organisation in based in Singapore and they are currently looking for a PYP Coordinator to join them this August.
Duties and responsibilities:
**Provide pedagogical leadership within the school under the guidance of the VP
**Oversee collaborative curriculum planning both horizontally and vertically throughout the school
**Support coordinators in managing their year group teams with planning, day to day organisation and similar tasks
**Oversee and organise in-school and out-of-school professional development for PYP
**Ensure that the International Baccalaureate (IB) publications remain current and disseminated to all staff
**Maintain files of completed Unit of Inquiry and weekly planners
**Publish the school's Programme of Inquiry
**Develop curriculum in the school's scope and sequence document
**Ensure assessment agreements, teaching and language learning are documented for PYP
**Take responsibility for collating school's IB action and development plan in consultation with the Principal and Vice Principal
**Ensure that parents are well informed regarding the general characteristics of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and how it is implemented by the school via Newsletters and information sessions/workshops
**Play an integral part in the Professional Development of staff especially in relation to the PYP
**Maintain a log of staff workshop attendance and school visits and monitor this to maintain quality and strategic future planning in relation to PYP curriculum
To apply, you MUST have the following:
- Bachelor degree in Primary Education or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as teaching license/certificate/PGCE
- At least 5 years teaching experience in PYP curriculum
- At least 3-4 years experience in a leadership role
- English native speaker
- Knowledge of PYP is required
- Experience working in international school is beneficial
