I am recruiting 1 Primary English/EU (Explore Unit) Teacher for a well-established Bilingual School in Shanghai. The ideal candidate should be able to relocate to China next academic year, August 2019 Start.
The school is a non-profit private institution founded in 2007 with over 1200 students from China and overseas, the school offers a unique Year 1-12 educational programme that integrates elements of Shanghai and international curricula, culminating in Years 9-12 with the IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes, both of which are complemented by core components of the Shanghai curriculum.
What's in Shanghai?
Shanghai is one of the most prosperous and cosmopolitan cities in China with an estimated population of over 24 million. The city is mixed with the rich heritage of ancient historic Chinese culture and landmark as well as the growing Pudong Skyline makes the city a modern and thriving environment. The main language is Mandarin and although English is not widely spoken, most street signs and maps are usually written in both English and Chinese which makes it very easy for foreigners to navigate the city.
In order to apply the ideal candidate needs to meet the following requirements:
**Bachelor's Degree in Education, Primary, English or related field
**Valid teaching certification is mandatory (PGCE, QTS)
**Native English Speaker
**3+ years' experience in the educational industry
**Experience working in an International School is a plus
**Experience supervising afternoon activities
**Experience participating in the pastoral program
Salary and Benefits:
**up to RMB 30,000 monthly, according to experience
