SeekTeachers is looking for a qualified Early Childhood teacher to be based in the beautiful Tongxiang, China. This position is permanent and to commence ASAP.
This school adopts the bilingual curriculum to children from Early Years to Grade 12. The school has been established in the 90's and considered to be one of the leading school in town.
To apply, you must be a qualified ECE teacher with at least 5 years of solid teaching experience, an English native speaker and flexible to adapt to a new culture.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Identify clear teaching objectives, content, lesson structures and sequences appropriate to the subject matter and the student being taught
- Set appropriate and demanding expectations for students’ learning and motivation. Set clear targets for students' learning, building on prior attainment and experiences.
- Identify students who have special educational needs and are gifted and talented, and know where to get assistance in order to give positive and targeted support. Where applicable, implement and keep records on Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained, and best use is made of teaching time.
- Use teaching methods that keep students engaged, including stimulating students’ intellectual curiosity, effective questioning and response, clear presentation and good use of resources.
- Set high expectations for students' behavior, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships.
- Promote positive behaviour patterns, encourage self-esteem, and improve independent working in students to assist their education and growth within an ICT environment
