Design Technology Teachers| Opportunity to Teach Abroad| Teach in the United Arab Emirates
The Ministry of Education has recently made Design Technology a stand-alone subject and are now looking for talented teachers to help drive the curriculums growth. there will be an element of design in the new programme, as well as science-related learning. Students will also be required to solve real-life problems and create simple computer programmes. Candidates who are freshly qualified from University with a relative degree will also be considered for the role. individuals with the most up to date knowledge of gadgetry, design and technology with a passion to enable young people to learn the same skills are welcome to apply.
The Salary and Benefits:
**TAX-FREE Monthly salary is 16,000 AED Per Month
**FREE Medical insurance for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children
**FREE flights for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children under 18 of age (entry and exit only)
**FREE visa for the teacher only (Teacher can sponsor family)
**Gratuity bonus upon completion of the contract
**Vacation as per the school academic calendar
**Two years contract renewable
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be able to inspire young students to take their first steps towards independent creative thought, to encourage them even when they appear to have no creative skills whatsoever. They will make them aware of the health and safety risks involved from using tools and machinery and set them exciting and challenging tasks.
Qualifications and Experience - Requirements to apply:
Educational Requirements
**PGCE in DT or a B.Ed in Design and Technology with QTS
**Ability to teach Resistant Materials
**Ability to adapt to a new culture
**Stable experience in teaching
PLEASE NOTE:
**Applicants without QTS but relative Bachelor's degree will also be considered
