The Minister of Education (MoE) in The United Arab Emirates is looking for experienced and driven maths teachers who aspire to support students’ knowledge of mathematics. The successful applicant will be teaching national students from Grade 8 to 12 (13 years old - 17 years old), providing them with a solid foundation in which they can develop their skills. The aim of the teacher for this position will be to support collaboration, encourage ethical behaviours, utilize new technologies and one who promotes LIFE-LONG LEARNING.
Salary:
**TAX-FREE Monthly salary is 21,000 AED Per Month
**FREE Medical insurance for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children
**FREE flights for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children under 18 of age (entry and exit)
**FREE visa for the teacher only (Teacher can sponsor family)
**Gratuity bonus upon completion of the contract
**Vacation as per the school academic calendar
**Two years contract renewable
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of planning, managing and improving the learning of their own students whilst working collaboratively with other team members in the department. They will show have confidence in working alongside Lead Teachers to implement and continually improve the ever-developing curriculum. Teachers will be responsible for planning and participating in Professional Development to further their own and others skills and abilities. The outstanding candidate will display an ability to adapt teaching accordingly to a range of ability’s and provide students with real-life scenarios to promote the application of the skills taught.
Education Requirements:
**Bachelor's Degree in mathematics required (Master's Degree preferred)
**Computer Literacy
**Excellent oral and written English skills
**Ability to speak Arabic is preferable
**IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speaker
