Design Technology Teachers| International Opportunity| Teach in the Emirates|
With the introduction of Design Technology as a new stand-alone curriculum subject, The Ministry of Education is looking for talented young people to complement the curriculums growth. Students in grades 4-9 (ages 9-14). The programme will have an element of design, science-related themes and real-life problems to solve by creating simple to complex computer programmes.
Individuals and fresh graduates with a degree in this area will be considered. Candidates with the most up to date knowledge of gadgetry, design and technology with a passion to enable young people to learn the same skills are welcome to apply.
The Salary and Benefits:
**TAX-FREE Monthly salary is 16,000 AED Per Month
**FREE Medical insurance for the teacher, spouse and up to 3 children
**FREE flights for teacher, spouse and up to 3 children under 18 of age (entry and exit only)
**FREE visa for the teacher only (Teacher can sponsor family)
**Gratuity bonus upon completion of the contract
**Vacation as per the school academic calendar
**Two years contract renewable
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology. The candidate will be both personable and have excellent communication skills, they will also have the ability to provide solutions and encourage the students to adopt a similar mindset to problem-solving. Emphasis will be placed on engaging students and develop their creativity. Candidates will be organised and have the ability to assess students work in order to aid improvement. Teachers will be responsible for providing their students with learning outcomes and supervise there learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:

**Bachelor's degree in a related subject
**PGCE in DT or a B.Ed in Design and Technology with QTS
**Ability to teach Resistant Materials
**Ability to adapt to a new culture
**Stable experience in teaching
