SeekTeachers is URGENTLY looking for an experienced and professional Head of EAL on behalf of our client in Beijing, China.
Our client is an established bilingual school located approximately 20 mins away from downtown Beijing. The school offers a unique IBPYP and Chinese curriculum to children aged 3 to 11.
The school has purpose-built facilities including large and fully-resourced classrooms, specified classrooms for ESL and Chinese culture class, a modern library and a range of support facilities. Support facilities include a full iMac computer suite ICT lab, dance studios, athletic track, soccer field, multi-purpose room, and a separate playground for our Reception classes. By providing excellent resources for our students, the school aims to create the most conducive learning environment possible

Requirements to apply:
- A fully qualified teacher
- Hold a degree and teaching qualification in relevant subjects
- EAL Qualification such as TEFL/CELTA/TESOL is desirable
- Min of 3 years leadership experience in a similar role
- International teaching experience preferred
- Flexible to adapt to a different culture
The role will be leading a team of 10 teachers and candidate must have a strong literacy/language development knowledge and leadership skills.
