Primary Teacher for the public schools based in the UAE
I am looking for a strong primary teacher that has a solid teaching background with no previous breaks or change in their teaching career as my client will only take on the most suitable candidate for the role. As per my client’s requirements, they would like you to be a teaching couple or single independent teacher as education is very expensive and the schools will not cover educational fees.
Primary Teacher Requirements to Apply
**Degree in Primary Education
**Bachelors’ Degree in English or linguistic related field + CELTA / Cert TESOL (or recognised Level 5 equivalent) with YL Extension + a minimum of 2 years teaching in a primary context
**A FULL teaching qualification e.g. PGCE/Grad Dip Ed/Valid state teaching license in Primary is desirable
**At least 2 years’ full time teaching experience
**DELTA (TEFL Q status) is desirable
**An M.Ed. in Primary Education is desirable but not essential
**Western trained from a recognised university
**Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
**Can use technology in the classroom
**Spoken Arabic skills is desirable
**IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers only
**Valid UAE or transferable Driving License
**Experience of working in the GCC would be an advantage
**Experience of using technology to engage students
**Experience of managing student performance and intervention strategies to raise performance
In the United Arab Emirates, you will be placed in the public sector educating emirate and international students from all around the world. As a primary teacher, you will be setting the foundations of these children’s lives as you are their education and you will have control of their lives. You are going to have to be at the top of your game a s this won’t be an easy task educating students that cant talk English as their first language.
The Ministry of education has a 100 percent of schools with Highley Qualified Teachers from all around the world. If you were looking to apply you would nee all of the following PGCE, BA, QTS in all the relevant subject you will also need 3 years or more teaching experience to apply.
