SeekTeachers is looking for a qualified Residence Hall teacher to be based in Tongxiang, a beautiful city approximately an hour away from Shanghai.
This school adopts the bilingual curriculum for children from Early Years to Grade 12. The school has been established in the 90's and considered to be one of the leading school in town.
The school has just over 600 children at present with over 15 different nationalities. Children are hardworking and keen to learn.

To apply, you must be a qualified Primary teacher with at least 5 years solid teaching experience, an English native speaker and flexible to adapt to a new culture.

Duties and responsibilities:
- To take care of the student’s daily living with the assistance of a domestic helper;
- To provide a homey environment for the dormitory students so that they could continue to grow emotionally, physically and spiritually being;
- To love every student as your own child;
- To work closely with the teachers to make sure the students are doing fine in school;
- To keep in touch with the students’ parents/guardians weekly either via email or phone;
- To plan Saturday/Sunday activities for the students;
- To plan a daily schedule and guide the students to follow it. The objective here is to help the students grow in all physical, emotional and spiritual aspects;
-To supervise the domestic helper in keeping the dormitory clean and tidy;
- Assist with promotional events and activities;
- Attend meetings;
- Acting as homeroom teacher sometimes;
- Other duties as requested by the Co-Principals.
