Job Description of a Librarian:
-
Looking after and updating electronic resources
-
Managing staff
-
Helping the public
-
Keeping the library organized and tidy (not everyone will put the book back where they found it)
-
Maintaining library catalogues and making them easy to use
-
Organizing events and activities (such a children’s book readings)
-
Chasing and collecting books back and enforcing fines
-
Ordering and displaying new stock
-
Maintaining a quiet environment
Requirements to apply for a Librarian:
-
Bachelor’s degree in education/relevant subject
-
MUST BE Ontario Certified or able to get an OCT certification
-
Min of two-year teaching experience
-
Flexible to adapt to new culture
-
Native English speaker

Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
A Newly Qualified Teachers program is provided
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 40,000 up to 40,000
USD (U.S. Dollar) per month
based on experience and qualification,
10-20% Tax is applied
Housing:
fully furnished Housing provided
Flights:
Included in Salary USD (U.S. Dollar)
Allowance is provided
