Secondary Art teacher role in Egypt | Teach in Cairo in August 2018

Calling all Art qualified teachers with strong experience in the American common core to apply NOW!! 
 
This fully accredited school delivers the American common core and welcomes 400 students and is insisting on the promotion of cultural diversity and internationalism.
 
Egypt has a rising number of International schools delivering the American curriculum. Therefore, they are looking for licensed and flexible teachers to join the successful team of educators in August 2018 and teach English to Middle School students.

Requirements to apply:
**Bachelor's degree in Education or a teaching license in Art 
**At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
**Stable experience in teaching
**Ability to adapt to a different culture 
 
Job duties:
  • Deliver the American curriculum to Middle School students 
  • Assess students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses
  • Teach lessons they have planned to an entire class or to smaller groups
  • Grade students’ assignments to monitor their progress
  • Communicate with parents about their child’s progress
  • Work with students individually to help them overcome specific learning challenges
  • Prepare students for standardized tests required by the state
  • Develop and enforce classroom rules
You must have a valid Canadian or US teaching certificate to apply!

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: B.Ed, BA Degree with a relevant PGCE (QTS/GTC/GTP)
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
A Newly Qualified Teachers program is not provided
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
