Job Requirements for a Science Teacher:

MUST be OCT certified

Bachelor’s Degree

CELTA/TEFL/TESOL Certified

Teaching Qualification

Must be able to live abroad for more than 2 years

Must be an English native speaker (US, UK, CA, SA, IR, NZ, AUS)

Must have 3 or more years teaching

Job Description of a Science Teacher:
-
To support the work of the Department to ensure the highest possible levels of achievement, while ensuring high standards of preparation, teaching and discipline.
-
Planning lessons in accordance with the Department’s schemes of work
-
Contribute to the development, evaluation and monitoring of the policies, syllabuses and schemes of work of the Department.
-
Liaison with relevant colleagues on the planning of work for collaborative delivery.

Monitoring and being aware of student’s prior levels of attainment and maintaining records
-
Set and mark examinations and other forms of assessment
-
Use ICT within the mathematics curriculum
-
Establishing high and appropriate expectations for learning, motivation and

presentation of work

Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 40,000 up to 40,000
USD (U.S. Dollar) per month
based on experience and qualification,
18% Tax is applied
