English Teacher for the public schools based in the UAE
The United Arab Emirates believes that all the students deserve the best education. The ministry of education must provide professional international teachers that have 3-years teaching experience post their qualifications PGCE, QST, BSc, Ma in the relevant subject.
There are NO SKYPE interviews and so all English teachers MUST sign up and be approved to attend an in-person interview. Only English teachers that are approved to attend will be provided full details

As an English teacher working in the United Arab Emirates it will be your job to gather and analyse interpret evidence and have the ability to make a fair and firm judgements, teamwork and leadership skills, organisational ability to work to tight deadlines, strong decision- making skills, excellent spoken and written skills, the ability to give feedback and advice in an assertive but in a sensitive way.
Requirements to apply
**Degree in English language or literature
**A CELTA/Cert TESOL (or recognized Level 5 equivalent)
**Master’s degree preferred in English
**A FULL teaching qualification e.g. PGCE/Grad Dip Ed/Valid state teaching license in English is desirable
**DELTA (TEFL Q Status) is desirable
**At least 2 years’ full-time teaching experience
**Western-trained from a recognized university
**Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
**Can use technology in the classroom
**Spoken Arabic skills is desirable
**IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers only
**Valid UAE or transferable Driving License
**Experience of working in the GCC would be an advantage
**Experience of using technology to engage students
**Experience of managing student performance and intervention strategies to raise performance
When applying for the United Arab Emirates there is a pending approval process I will have to gather your documents and put them through a process where the ministry if education oversee your qualifications and documents and they will decide if you will go through to an interview. If you do not get in we have private schools that I can put you forward for so don’t worry there is always a backup plan.
